The Saga Begins - Part One
The Saga Begins - Part One
In 1999 the Star Wars epic was expanded with "The Phantom Menace", the origin story about the initial encounter between a very young Anakin Skywalker and Jedi Knight Obi Wan Kenobi.
A month after the movie was released a parody of "American Pie" was released by Weird Al Yankovic that was based on the plot lines of The Phantom Menace. He called his song "The Saga Begins"
The length of this verse imposed some layout challenges that resulted in three pages of verse. I illustrated each page with the characters from the movie who are referenced. On this first drawing of The Saga Begins (Part One) images include Jar Jar Binks, Boss Nas and Young Anakin Skywalker in his Pod Racer
(Buy the first two images in this series and i will include the third at no charge)
