Vince Lombardi - Green Bay Packers
Vince Lombardi was the legendary Head Coach of the Green Bay Packers from 1960 to 1967. He became the Packers GM in 1968 and returned to coaching for one year with the dual role of Coach and Executive Vice President of the Washington Redskins in 1969. He passed in September 1970
His teams won five NFL Championships in seven years in addition to winning the first two Superbowls in 1966 and 1967 .
His coaching style and attitudes towards his players changed the way NFL Teams operated. He was an inspiration for the generation that followed
