John Wooden - UCLA Basketball
John Wooden - The Wizard of Westwood - Coached the UCLA Bruins to 10 National Championships in 12 years, including a stretch of seven straight from 1967 to 1973. His teams won a record 88 consecutive games during this same time frame
His team's leaders included Lew Alcindor/Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Bill Walton and many other players who would go on to be NBA All Stars including Sidney Wicks, Curtis Rowe, Keith Wilkes, and Marques Johnson.
Wooden popularized his Pyramid of Success Philosophy as a way to success in Life as well as Basketball.
Wooden passed at the age of 100 in 2010. He set records for winning that may never be equaled
