Law and Order
This collection of funny "Laws" is something I first completed in 1978 in two separate pieces. ( titled "Law and Disorder" and "Disorder and Law") I combined them here and made some significant changes to the layout in a piece completed last month.
The biggest layout change is the addition of white space. Also my lettering has improved a bit. The early pieces I completed had a cramped and crowded feel to them compared to more recent work. Bigger pieces of paper with more space between lines help to accomplish that
The original of this modern "Law and Order" was lettered on 24" x 14 " paper using a pen with an italic grind on a "Fine" Nib that is approximately 0.5 mm in width. The title was done with a Pilot Calligraphy Pen with a 3.8 mm wide nib. This copy was scaled down to 11" x 17" after scanning

Due to the size of this piece the Print available here is formatted for 11" x 17" paper.
