Mark D'Antonio - Michigan State Football
Mark D'Antonio was hired as the head football coach at Michigan State University in 2007. He left a position at University of Cincinnati where he was head coach for 3 seasons, leading the Bearcats program back to a winning record.
D'Antonio returned to MSU as head coach after having previously served as a assistant coach for Defensive Backs at MSU under then head coach Nick Saban for five years. D'Antonio's teams went 114-57 over the next 12 seasons. He led them to four Big Ten Championships.
Coach D'Antonio retired in early 2020 after a health scare. He retired as MSU's winningest Football coach in history.
He briefly returned to the Spartans as Associate head Coach in the wake of Mel Tucker's suspension and the elevation of Harlon Barnett to interim head coach in 2023
