Nick Saban - Alabama Football
Nick Saban began his professional Football Coaching career at Kent State in 1973. He held various Assistant Coach roles in College and the NFL before joining Toledo as Head Coach in 1990. He left that job and became the Defensive Coordinator for the Cleveland Browns for three seasons.
He returned to Michigan State as Head Coach in 1995 after having served as a Defensive Coordinator for George Perles when the Spartans won the Rose Bowl in 1987. He was lured away from Michigan State by LSU in 2000 where he won his first National Championship in 2003. He left LSU for another NFL job in Miami for the 2005-2006 season before he returned to the College Ranks to lead Alabama Crimson Tide Football from 2007 through 2023.
