Casey Christmas Lyrics - from the album "Yuletidin With You"
In October 2024 the Vinyl Christmas LP "Yuletidin' With You" with this song featured on Side Two was released in Nashville, Tennessee. Six months earlier 90 people from Casey Illinois gathered inside the Worlds Largest Mailbox where they were recorded singing the chorus to "Casey Christmas" which celebrates the Christmas spirit of the town. They can be heard on the record.
Casey Illinois is known for "Big Things in a Small Town". The Town currently holds Ten Guinness World Records for the world's largest object including Wind Chimes, Rocking Chair, Golf Tee and the Mailbox featured in this song. The " Candy Canes on Main" parade that is mentioned takes place in Casey in early December every year.
If you visit The World's Largest Mailbox you will find a copy of this drawing permanently mounted inside, just to the right of where Santa is shown in the drawing.
The Song was written by award winning songwriters Mark Barnowski and Corey Lee Barker (Christmas Corey) and was performed by Nashville recording artist Cole Burkett.
